ese debuts "halfway to something" irish lager at two weeks notice brewing co.'s st. patrick's day party
Kick off St. Paddy’s Day weekend on Saturday, March 15, from 12pm to 10pm, at Two Weeks Notice Brewing Co.’s St. Patrick’s Day Party. This event is an annual staple for the brewery, but this year promises double the excitement with all-day entertainment and the debut of a brand-new beer collaboration with Eastern States Exposition (ESE): “Halfway to Something,” an Irish Lager.
That’s right, “Halfway to Something” was born of the partnership between Two Weeks Notice Brewing Co. and ESE, crafted to honor St. Paddy’s Day and the Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day celebration at The Big E. These two events are bookends of West Springfield’s Irish calendar. Together they ensure that there are always festivities to which you can raise a glass—no matter which way you’re counting!
The can art was created by none other than Eric Clarke, of Montgomery, Mass. The design is a nod to all things townie; spot the West Springfield Tartan, a terrier, Fair fun and more on a sleeve that screams West Side Irish pride.
One lad or lass will head home with a sweepstakes, too, when they buy the lucky four pack of “Halfway to Something” that contains a four pack of tickets to Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at The Big E, complete with slide tickets for all.
The entertainment lineup boasts Irish step dancers from West Springfield’s Cassin Academy, traditional bagpipers, a West Springfield Tartan retail pop-up, a lively performance by Andyhasaband, a menu that draws on staple Irish fare, special guests from the town and, of course, the launch of Two Weeks’s latest Irish lager!
You’ve got every reason to stop by for a pint and celebrate the reason for green season with ESE at Two Weeks’s St. Patrick’s Day Party on Saturday, March 15, all day long!
